A Rambling of a Tired Woman

M isn't feeling well so of course you know the whole world must stop and he must be waited on hand and foot. Why is it that most men are such big babies when they are sick? I know its not all guys so don't go blasting my comments with those darn men comments haha. I remember growing up and my dad was the same way as M rarely got sick but when they did they seemed to think the whole world should notice. Even though I think my dad was worse then M (or so my mom has led me to believe)!

M has also become obsessed with hand sanitizer. Yes, I know he is weird but that's okay I guess he has clean hands with his new found obsession. Bottles of the stuff have been placed strategically throughout the house. I have to admit its kind of cute with his stuffy nose asking "wheres da saaaaaanitzer? Aha the things that amuse my little brain.

My belly button is starting to pop out. Does that mean I am about to be done cooking? I would love to go into labor at 37 weeks on the dot (considered full-term) but I know that probably won't happen. Anyways I am tempted to paint the inside of my belly button red like the turkey thermometers they have shoved in them so that I can "pop like a turkey" Yes people I am easily amused.

I am also extremely jealous. Everyone else gets tagged with meme's but not me. So really you faithful and loyal readers I want a meme or I will be forced to make my own meme. Yes desperate times call for desperate measures

Shawnda,
whats a meme? I know what you are talking about when you say M wants to be babied when he is sick. Josh is the exact same way, when I am sick I am expected to take care of myself pretty much, but all Josh has to have is a bad cold and I am supposed to drop everything and baby him.

Julie,
This is a meme: an idea, project, statement or even a question that is posted by one blog and responded to by other blogs. Although the term encompasses much of the natural flow of communication in the Blogosphere, there are active bloggers and blog sites that are dedicated to the creation of memes on a regular basis

Oh okay well that explains why I don't know what a meme is, since I know next to nothing about blogs.lol

Julie,
you should start a blog. its really pretty easy. like mine is on blogger.com and you pick a template and that will get you jumpstarted and you just start writing and hit publish. pretty simple stuff and its almost like therapy, you can write down things and have people give either good or bad advice sympathy etc. its really great :)

well, maybe when I come to your baby shower you can show me how to do it and I can add to it when I can right before and after the baby is born. But we won't have a computer when we move to Augusta so I will only be able to check it and add stuff when we go to my parents house, but that will be often.

Thank you for the explaination about what a meme is. I love blogs, that are fun and easy to publish. Yes, it does seem like men would like the world to stand still while they are sicj, while there are others that would rather not anyone know that they are not feeling well. All that sickness going wround in the household, check on the allergens around the house. Sure sign that is what it is. And this next statement I know will be seen by all the people that reads your blog S, but here goes: Women are a lot stronger than men, not physically, but mentally. Although it is nice to be babied when you are not feeling well, it is something that if given to much, tends to aggravate rather than soothe. You see, ask your mate to fix you a bowl of soup. After you are done with the bowl of soup, hmm, walk into the kitchen and see if the mess is still there. I can almost guarantee the mess is there for you to clean up. And 9 times out of 10, you stand there and clean up the mess and then mention something to your mate about why does he do things only halfway. Thanks Man for the loving gesture of the stop but damn it, Clean up your own mess. Am I right on this one?
About the belly button thing, when your belly button starts to pop out, it is a sure sign that soon and very soon you will be popping. So go ahead and paint the belly button red, when button has popped all the way out, its the right temperature inside and MS is done. LOL.
